Explanation

Modern Computers are very reliable but they are not Infallible. A computer is a device that can be instructed to carry out sequences of arithmetic or logical operations automatically via computer programming. Modern computers have the ability to follow generalized sets of operations, called programs. These programs enable computers to perform an extremely wide range of tasks. Effectively they are, because nowadays the two terms are very widely used interchangeably. Really, though, “computer” is not a science. … So the subjects should really be called “computing science” (the study of software algorithms) and “computer engineering” (the study of how to build computers).
