Explanation

The Whale shark (Rhincodon typus) is the largest type of shark and the largest fish in the world. The largest recorded whale shark measured 61.7 feet (18.8 m) long, though they are typically 18 to 32 feet (5.5-9.8 m) on average. These gentle filter-feeders are found in warm waters globally and are currently listed as an Endangered species.
