MIT is the spy agency of Turkey. MIT, or Millî İstihbarat Teşkilatı, is the national intelligence agency of Turkey. Established in 1965, its primary role is to gather intelligence both inside and outside Turkey, prevent threats to national security, and carry out counter-terrorism activities. It operates similarly to the CIA in the U.S. or MI6 in the UK, working covertly to protect Turkish interests and gather information that can influence national security decisions.
