Explanation

According to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Cellular Mobile Operators (CMOs) missed SMS and Voice Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and were determined to be below the licencing threshold. The PTA gave operators instructions to take corrective action in order to improve service quality in accordance with license standards. In Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan, PTA conducted an impartial Quality of Service (QoS) survey in 18 cities and nine freeways, highways, and intercity roads to assess the performance and quality of services provided by Cellular Mobile Operators (CMOs). As per PTA survey, Zong ranked top as the best mobile network of Pakistan, followed by Telenor at 2nd place, Jazz 3rd place and Ufone at the 4th place.
