Explanation

The federal government has appointed Lieutenant General Akhtar Nawaz Satti as the new chairman of the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC). The appointment follows the approval of President Asif Ali Zardari, based on the recommendation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
