Kitab-Al-Hind is the Arabic book authored by Al-Biruni. Kitab al-Tafhim is the book authored by Al-Biruni in both Persian and Arabic languages. He traveled to the Indian subcontinent in 1017. Tārīkh al-Hind (History of India) is a book authored by Al-Biruni based on his study of Indian culture. His birthday was celebrated as the day of the surveying engineer in Iran.
