Pakistan hosts five deserts which were historically forests. They includes: Thar Desert in Sindh. The Cholistan Desert in Bahawalpur (Punjab). The Thal Desert in Bhakkar (Punjab). The Kharan Desert in Balochistan The Katpana Desert in Skardu (Gilgit-Baltistan).
