Explanation

Allama Muhammad Iqbal, a prominent Muslim philosopher and poet, emphasized the concept of Khudi (selfhood or self-realization) as central to the unity and strength of the Ummah (Muslim community). Asabiyyah (group solidarity) is Ibn-e-Khaldun’s concept, not Iqbal’s primary focus for Ummah. Individuality is too narrow for Iqbal’s vision of communal unity.
