A Pakistani delegation, led by Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs chairman, Senator Irfan Siddiqui, met the chief of Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan, Zayniddin Nizamkhdjaev, during an official visit to Uzbekistan. The Pakistani delegation, headed by Senator Siddiqui and comprising senators Sarmad Ali and Amir Chishti, is in Uzbekistan, serving as international observers for the country’s parliamentary elections on the invitation of the Uzbek election commission According to a statement, Mr Nizamkhdjaev welcomed the delegation and expressed his appreciation for their participation as observers.
